INSIDE BANKSY | UNAUTHORIZED EXHIBITION is a spectacular immersive event that narrates the creative journey of Banksy, the most subversive and satirical artist in the global street art scene.
A narrative unfolds through a mix of images, sounds, and original music, capable of evoking the underground culture of Bristol. The immersive experience, showcased at Palazzo Trinacria, the historic and monumental headquarters of the Pietro Barbaro Foundation, is accessible from October 7, 2023, to January 7, 2024. The multimedia concept was created by Crossmedia Group, and the entire realization is curated by the Pietro Barbaro Foundation. INSIDE BANKSY | UNAUTHORIZED EXHIBITION is the first initiative produced by the Pietro Barbaro Foundation to inaugurate Trinacria Immersive Art Space, the first permanent immersive space in southern Italy, now open to self-produced initiatives and new collaborations with the national and international artistic community.
Palazzo Trinacria now offers, in a captivating 360° multimedia space, 35 minutes of a multisensory experience capable of transporting visitors to the heart of the contemporary street art world.
The floor and walls of the palace are flooded with a unique narrative showcasing the works of the mysterious British artist, retracing his artistic production from the early graffiti in Bristol to the present day. INSIDE BANKSY | UNAUTHORIZED EXHIBITION, following the best traditions of immersive experiences, also includes some interactive features that enrich the multisensory journey. The VR Experience provides the opportunity to delve into the artistic vision of the English writer through an app specially developed for Oculus Quest. With these visors, it will be possible to participate in an additional adventure of about 5 minutes, exploring the most iconic works of the artist.
